About a month after we were informed of the big plans, we had already moved out everything e and witnessed the tearing down of the old house. Although it was exciting to be moving, it was very sad watching the old house in the last of its days. There's no telling how much stories and traditions had been had there, let alone how many Epsilon Delta alumni who had spent their time making memories within the house. But, after 50 years of service, and its original design replicating a Californian beach house not fit for Oregon weather, the wear and tear of the house was evident, and as much as it was hard to say goodbye to the old house, it was really unexpected to be the founding fathers of the new Chi Phi location.
With heavy renovations, and the help of alumni and current brothers, the new house was officially opened and ready for buisness by the following Fall term '09. The new house sits on a massive 20,000s sq.ft, with 22 rooms, 4 sleeping porches, and lots of room for socializing. It is with great pride and enthusiams that we introduce our new location, and we encourgae you to stop by and see what its become for yourself!
Ps: The new chapter room is amazing!
