With the new house renovations and big expectations for the coming year, the next big thing that happened was our successful summer-into-fall'09 pledge class. The pledge class was packed with a stunning 19 new members. The members of the pledge class varied from all over Oregon and was very influential in spreading our network and the Chi Phi name amongst a large group of new people. It was great having the new house welcome all of the new members, and many of them have already taken on house positions! The passion for the house had successfully been rekindled and all that was needed now was the commitment of the Brotherhood to continue on the road to continual existence and retention. With 53 members pictured on the last composite you can really see the progression through the years and it feels great hanging it up in the foyer!
Which brings us to current day. Though this is just a brief account of all that has happened within the last 3 years, there is no way to truly put into words how much blood and sweat were bled by the alumni and current Brothers of Epsilon Delta to get to where we are today. We have come from a lot less than what we have now, and we live everyday trying not to forget that!
